Are there any Afrikaans names for Breslau/Wroclaw?

Sorry I forgot to sign Ben Bezuidenhout (kontak) 22:45, 24 Augustus 2009 (UTC)[antwoord]
No, I don't think so. You may want to check Bruce Donaldson's A Grammar of Afrikaans on Google Scholar: A Grammar... . There's a list of foreign geographical names on page 112. --Voyageur (kontak) 22:55, 24 Augustus 2009 (UTC)[antwoord]
The reason why I questioned a different name is because of Stettyn, Gdansk, Warskou and Krakau, who all have a unique Afrikaans name. I would really like to know if there are any other cities in eastern Europe that have an Afrikaans name (except Moskou and Kief).--Ben Bezuidenhout (kontak) 16:16, 25 Augustus 2009 (UTC)[antwoord]
There are only a few Dutch and/or Afrikaans names which have been derived from German. I do not think that the Dutch- or Afrikaans-speaking world has ever developed strong political, economical or cultural ties with Eastern Europe, so we should not expect to find more than a few Afrikaans names for cities in this part of the world. --Voyageur (kontak) 16:31, 25 Augustus 2009 (UTC)[antwoord]
Thank you Voyageur for the link. On my findings (which loaded after a few hours!) I found that 'Brussels' is incorrect Afrikaans, but I think we need to present this on the actual article. These were my other interesting findings:
