’n Parsek is ’n afstandseenheid wat in die sterrekunde gebruik word. Een parsek is 3,26 ligjare, wat net minder is as 31 biljoen (3.1×1013) kilometer.

Die term is in 1913 geskep as ’n afkorting van "’n afstand wat ooreenstem met ’n paralaks van een sekonde".[1]
