Adrien René Franchet
Adrien René Franchet (21 April 1834, Pezou – 15 Februarie 1900, Parys) was 'n Franse plantkundige, gebaseer by die Paris Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle. Hy is bekend vir sy uitgebreide werk om die flora van China en Japan te beskryf, gebaseer op die versamelings deur Franse Katolieke sendelinge in China, Armand David, Pierre Jean Marie Delavay, Paul Guillaume Farges, Jean-André Soulié en ander.
