Alpha Pyxidis (afgekort as α Pyx) is ’n reusester in die sterrebeeld Kompas (Pyxis) en die helderste ster in die sterrebeeld. Dit is ’n Beta Cephei-veranderlike en het ’n sterreklassifikasie van B1,5 III. Sy massa is meer as 10 keer dié van die Son en sy radius ses keer die Son s’n. Sy oppervlaktemperatuur is 24 300 K en sy ligsterkte is sowat 10 000 keer dié van die Son.[1][5][7]
