Amphithalea imbricata is 'n struik wat deel van die Fabaceae familie is. Die spesie is endemies aan Suid-Afrika en kom in die Wes-Kaap vanaf die Kaapse Skiereiland tot by die Hottentots-Hollandberge voor. Die plant is deel van die fynbos, blom van Desember tot Junie en word as seldsaam beskou.
