Die Oleasterboswilg (Combretum elaeagnoides)[2] is 'n struik of klein boompie wat aan die familie Combretaceae behoort.[1][3] Dit is die eerste keer in 1861 deur Johann Friedrich Klotzsch beskryf.[1] Die spesie is inheems aan Botswana, Mosambiek, Namibië, Zambië en Zimbabwe. Daar is geen gelyste subspesies nie.[2]
