My name is Marco but you can all call me Marc. I was born and raised in metropolitan Los Angeles, Kalifornië. I speak English fluently and I can also converse in Spanish and Portuguese but still have trouble writing them. I also speak some French (2 years in high school) and I am learning Afrikaans at the moment but only know a few phrases and words. My goal here on the Afrikaans Wikipedia is to improve my Afrikaans while contributing to articles related to the countries, culture, and history of Noord-Amerika and Suid-Amerika since I am fairly knowledgeable in these areas. Although, I mostly attempt to create stubs from translating the English, Portuguese, Spanish, and French versions respectively. I also want to contribute to other articles related to sports, literature, art, history, and languages. Another goal of mine is, I also want the Afrikaans Wikipedia to reach 10.000+ articles. If we all work hard enough we can make this happen and perhaps even exceed that number in the future.
