Lithops fulviceps is 'n vetplant wat deel is van die Aizoaceae familie. Die spesie is inheems aan Namibië en Suid-Afrika. In Suid-Afrika kom die plant in die Noord-Kaap voor.

Sy natuurlike habitat is rotsagtige gebiede en koue woestyne. Dit word bedreig deur habitatverlies.^[1]
