Maqueen Letsoha-Mathae

Maqueen Joyce Letsoha-Mathae (gebore 3 Februarie 1969)^[1] is 'n Suid-Afrikaanse politikus wat tans dien as die 8ste premier van die Vrystaat.^[2] Sy was voorheen in die Vrystaatse Uitvoerende Raad as lid van die Uitvoerende Raad (LUR) vir Gemeenskapsveiligheid, Paaie en Vervoer vanaf Maart 2023 tot Junie 2024.^[3]^[4] Letsoha-Mathae is sedert Maart 2023 'n Lid van die Vrystaatse Provinsiale Wetgewer.^[5] Sy is 'n lid van die African National Congress.

Kontroversies

In Oktober 2024 het die Ekonomiese Vryheidsvegters en ActionSA in die Vrystaat Letsoha-Mathae en haar man daarvan beskuldig dat hulle miljoene rande se omkoopgeld ontvang het om 'n padkontrak in Tweespruit te verkry.^[6]^[7]

Op 9 Februarie 2025 beweer opposisiepartye dat Mathae die swakste premier na Ace Magashule is.^[8]
