Max Born

Max Born (11 Desember 1882 – 5 Januarie 1970) was 'n Duits-Britse teoretiese fisikus wat instrumenteel was in die ontwikkeling van kwantummeganika. Hy het ook bydraes gelewer tot vastetoestandfisika en optika, en het toesig gehou oor die werk van 'n aantal noemenswaardige fisici in die 1920's en 1930's. Born het die 1954 Nobelprys vir fisika saam met Walther Bothe gedeel "vir sy fundamentele navorsing in kwantummeganika, veral in die statistiese interpretasie van die golffunksie".
