English: This is the Integrated Taxonomic Information System (ITIS) logotype. Originally, ITIS was a U.S. federal, inter-agency program designed to provide consistent and reliable information on the taxonomy of biological species. Today several international organisations take part and cooperate. The ITIS logo is a work of the U.S. Federal Government.
Svenska: Detta är logotypen för Integrated Taxonomic Information System (ITIS). ITIS var ursprungligen en organisation för främjande av samarbete mellan olika amerikanska federala myndigheter, med syftet att ge konsekvent och tillförlitlig information om taxonomi kring biologiska arter. Numera deltar flera internationella organisationer i samarbetet. Logotypen är ett verk av den amerikanska federala regeringen.
Deutsch: Dies ist das Logo für Integrated Taxonomic Information System (ITIS). ITIS war ursprünglich eine Organisation zur Förderung der Zusammenarbeit zwischen den verschiedenen US-Bundesbehörden, um zuverlässig Information die Taxonomie der biologischen Arten.
