Londen is grooter dann parys. Londen het 7,000,000 mense en parys het 2,000,000 . in die metropalise londen het 11,000,000 (2004) en parys het 12,000,000 (2007) , in the entire city there are some 15,000,000 in london and some 13,000,000 in parys. Londen itself it bigger then paris , menaing it's the 2nd biggest city in europe. (if turkey's not in europe).

True , i was shocked too when i came across it and found that articles of places in london were longer. There are 45,000 south africans in london. i was wonderin if someone could please put down about the first afrikaans newspaper outside africa , i cant remember the name , but i remember that it was the first outside africa.i think we should start improving/EXPANDING it. towns in germany with a population 5% if that of london (plus without south african borns) have longer articles.

South Africans could care less about our article because they can easily read the British stuff on the English Wikipedia. So we're not gonna translate that one. I favor the French version with its detailed explanation of the legal definition of Greater London and other things. An article that appeals to historically and culturally interested readers would be fine. I suggest that we keep this one on our to do list. Cape Town and Stockholm are the urgent candidates for this week.

About the other articles - there are a few Afrikaans-speaking people who really enjoy traveling to and reading about the lesser-known places in countries like Norway, Germany, France and so on.
