Die Hen-met-kuikens (Chlorophytum comosum) is 'n meerjarige plant en grondbedekker wat vinnig groei en ook vinnig versprei. Die plant het sagte lintvormige groen blare met wit in die middel. Die blare skiet oral wortel waar hulle aan die grond raak en vorm nuwe plantjies. Die plant verkies skadu of halfskadu toestande en matige water is nodig.
