Vardanes I was van 40 tot 46 n.C. koning van konings van die Partiese Ryk. Hy was die erfgenaam van sy pa, Artabanus II,[1] maar moes teen sy broer, Gotarzes II, veg wat 'n aangenome seun van Artabanus[1][2] en 'n mededinger om die troon was.
Vardanes se kort bewind het geëindig toe hy tydens 'n jaguitstappie vermoor is.[3]
