Die Lekkerruikpeul (Acacia nilotica) is 'n klein tot middelgroot boom wat wydverspreid in KwaZulu-Natal, Mpumalanga en Limpopo voorkom. Die dorings is dun, lank en reguit - ongeveer 4 tot 5 cm. Die blomme word in klein hofies gedra. Die peule is kenmerkend, dit word saamgetrek tussen die sade.
