Delta Arae (δ Arae, afgekort as Delta Ara of δ Ara) is ’n dubbelster in die suidelike sterrebeeld Altaar (Ara). Dit het ’n skynbare magnitude van 3,62^[4] en is met die blote oog sigbaar. Die ster is sowat 198 ligjare van die Son af.^[3]

Delta Arae is ’n swaar B-tipe hoofreeksster met ’n sterreklassifikasie van B8 Vn.^[1] Die "n" in die agtervoegsel dui daarop dit het absorpsielyne wat uitgesprei is omdat die ster vinnig roteer. Dit het ’n rotasiesnelheid van 255 km/s, wat aanleiding gee tot ’n ewenaarbult met ’n radius van 13% groter as die poolradius.^[2] Delta Arae het ’n G-tipe metgesel-ster met ’n magnitude van 9,5 wat dalk ’n dubbelsterstelsel vorm.^[5]

Daar is ook ’n optiese metgesel met ’n skynbare magnitude van 12 wat 47,4 boogsekondes ver lê.^[7]
