Alderamin (ook bekend as Alpha Cephei of α Cep) is ’n helder ster in die sterrebeeld Kefeus (Cepheus) naby die noordelike hemelpool. Dit is redelik naby aan die Son, sowat 49  ligjare.

Met ’n deklinasie van meer as 62 grade noord is Alderamin meestal in die Noordelike Halfrond sigbaar, en reg deur die jaar in Europa, Noord-Asië, Kanada en Amerikaanse stede so ver suid as San Diego. Vanweë sy skynbare magnitude van sowat 2,5 is dit maklik met die blote oog sigbaar, selfs in stede met ligte lugbesoedeling.

Die ster se Bayer-naam is "Alpha Cephei" en sy Flamsteed-naam "5 Cephei". Die tradisionele naam, "Alderamin", kom van die Arabiese frase الذراع اليمين al-dhirā‘ al-yamīn, "die regterarm".

In 2016 het die Internasionale Astronomiese Unie se sternaamwerkgroep (WGSN) die naam "Alderamin" vir die ster goedgekeur.[8]
