Chiridotidae is 'n familie van seekomkommers in die orde Apodida.

Beskrywing en eienskappe[wysig | wysig bron]

Lede van hierdie familie het 10, 12, of 18 vingeragtige tentakels waarvan tussen 3 en 10 per sy voorkom. Hulle ontbreek podia, radiale kanale, en 'n respiratoriese boom.

Die sagte liggaamswand word deur ossikels ondersteun wat gewoonlik wielvormig is en ses speke het.^[1]

Sommige spesies het haak- of staafvormige ossikels of benerige, sekelvormige liggame^[2]
